This app has stopped updating to the current days news.

Why has this app suddenly quit working?!

Really NBC/Comcast.... I used to love your app and podcast. You kill the podcast. You add advertisements. The app is crap. If I have to see a miss piggy ad one time I will vomit. Arent the muppets abc anyways? Send them back to abc and not on nbc.

You really need to fire who ever is managing this app, the video are incorrectly labeled, some dont have sound or are the wrong date. Bring back podcast cause your app is horrible!!

App oftentimes fails to open the story or freezes much of the time

NBC used to be the best for on demand viewing of the evening news with their nightly podcast.. now I am finding it impossible.. The app is slow, video locks up and its littered with ads (that seem to be the only part that work right) - the Apple TV app is even worse but I give up.. very sad that NBC abandon the podcast that never failed for this garbage.

The previous version ofnthe app worked just fine. The revised app dated 12/3/15 is horrible. The video stops repeatedly and needs to be restarted. Ads appear simultaneous to the broadcast. Time to find another way to stream the news. Wouldnt you think NBC would test their app before releasing it?

The dec 2015 update has ruined what used to be a stable well laid out news source. What used to work flawlessly is now unusable. Videos freeze and the only thing that plays are the now numerous adds. A quality newscast like nbc nightly news deserves a better app. Luckily the ABC news app still works perfectly. Dont waste your time with this.

App wont install and will not allow deletion!

The update dated 3 Dec 15 makes you wonder what kind of testing they did before pushing out release. I use iPhone 5 with hdmi cable to TV. Maybe it works better on newer machines, but not for me. I can no longer press full broadcast and watch it all. Most times it hangs after each news item. Some times hangs with the commercials last frame on screen while next news cast starts. When this happens only fix I find is to unplug and replug TV connection. Would like to go back to prior version, if I could.

The former Nightly News app was my "go to" app for news. Now, the "updated" app makes the viewer watch 58 seconds of a 60 second advertisement before it completely freezes. Why wasnt this app tested before release? It is utterly shameful to ruin a formerly very nice app and dump it on unsuspecting users without adequate testing. A novice user could have caught this problem within five minutes of use. Did you even bother to check the app as you wrote the software? Or, did you just "hope" it was going to work? App Developers, please get your act together!

Just tried to watch and it tried to play a commercial, but it started it, 5 seconds later, it stopped and started a different commercial. Did this at least 4 more time before I closed the app. Never showed a second of news.

Overall I like this app but NBC continually repeats the same long commercial at the beginning of the broadcast. Ive now seen the binge eating disorder commercial 100 times and I cant take it anymore. Please please please bring back the podcast.

Got me by for a bit - if I fussed with it each and every time. Crashed at lot. Then they stripped out airplay. FAIL.

Since the latest update, the app simply does not work. Its useless!

If I have to see the binge eating commercial again, Im going to throw up! Loud and obnoxious. Current news is NOT current! It is updated sporadically, at different times. What you see today is yesterdays news… NOT CURRENT! Any other news app is better than NBC Nightly News! This app gets worse with every update.

I used to love watching the nbc news but now I cant get passed the ads. The ads restart half way through and keep looping. The binge eating commercial plays 18 times and then I still cant even get to the news.

Get rid of the stop and start performance and the constant receptive, receptive, receptive, receptive, receptive stupid ads NBC and its advertisers need to get a clue They turn potential customers angry about a product instead of interested This app is pretty. Cut garbage because of this

This app could be good if the would pull their head out of their .... and stop trying to nickel and dime you to watch the advertisements. The app freezes every time you are forced to watch a commercial and restarts the same commercial over and over again with even getting to watch the news. Look elsewhere for news until they fix this.
